Renowned Evangelist Uma Ukpai dies at 80

Reverend Uma Ukpai, a prominent Nigerian Christian leader, evangelist, and preacher, has passed away at the age of 80.

He died on October 6, 2025.

Reverend Ukpai was the founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), a non-denominational gospel ministry based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He was also a key figure in the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).
