The Iranian military reported that Israel launched attacks on its military facilities across the country early Saturday, causing “limited damage” in some locations. According to the state news agency IRNA, Israel targeted military centers in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam. IRNA also stated that the assault was intercepted and countered by Iran’s “integrated air defense system.”
Earlier, Iranian officials noted that air defenses were activated “in several areas around Tehran and across the country,” in response to the attacks.
